Inventory in the Westborough area market is the lowest it has been in years, making it a great opportunity for sellers. There's nothing for people to buy, so buyers are making offers higher than they typically would. We're seeing bidding wars that drive up the price of homes that go on the market.
Some people have thought about taking advantage of the seller's market but don't want to sell their house during the winter. However, the buyers that show up this time of year are really serious buyers. You won't have the tire-kickers come through your house like you would in the spring. The buyers out looking right now are often relocation buyers who simply have to buy now.
