Understanding the Refugee Crisis in Lebanon

In this edition of Impact!, Ellen and Clive delve into the complex and often overlooked issue of Lebanon's refugee crisis.

The hosts also explore the implications of a recent pledge by the European Union to deliver €1 billion in financial aid to help counteract the crisis.

Suggested intention

The European Union aid package may appear generous, but it’s doubtless limited in what it can enable. Given the importance for appropriate use of this money, we suggest holding as our main focused intention this week:

We will that the Lebanese government and its administrators will be guided in where to distribute and how to coordinate the funding and assistance offered by the European Union in the most equitable way to bring maximum benefit both for its own citizens and the refugees within its borders.
