The State contains a disease. The disease spreads in the state, changing it. The State interacts with other States. Contagion spreads. The State attempts to restrict the flow of bodies, of ideas.

Corona viruses such as SARS and the Wuhan epidemic seem to destroy a higher percentage of infected bodies, although they seem also to infect fewer bodies. Influenza kills many more people every year than corona viruses even though it kills the infected at a lower rate. 1004 people were shot and killed by American police in 2019.
