Speaker: Dr. Charles Asher Small Affiliation: Founder and Executive Director, Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) Title: "Globalization and Contemporary Antisemitisms: From Islamism as a Social Movement to the Acquiescence in the West" Location: Yale University, New Haven, CT Date: April 21, 2011 Description: Dr. Charles Asher Small argues that there are many different forms of antisemtisms and explains how globalization contributes to the marginalization of various groups in society, which, in turn, impacts contemporary antisemitism. These forces create conditions that are largely responsible for the reemergence of contemporary antisemitism.
