Ps Leon du Preez is teaching us about the Greek word "Eido" which means having a full awareness about something - "you know that you know". It is a humility that accepts the gifts God has given you.

Some biblical examples of "Eido" is where David boldly confronted Goliath but was accused of having pride. Similarly, Joseph was mocked as the dreamer because of how he dressed, walked and talked.

Our growth, as Christians, lies in losing our own reputation. God will use the person people hate the most!

God made David king because He liked David. God loves everyone, butnot everyone is liked by God.

Grace is evident when God is backing something, and the results come automatically.
