We need to update education into today's world for tomorrow, not just repeating what we've done for the last 100 years.

Do you prefer public, private or home school? How can we finally improve on education? How do we implement better virtual learning?

We are in the technological age and should be ahead in world rankings instead of behind. Let kids excel at subjects they understand best. Offer new and different practical subjects. Life skills vs things you will never use in life. Keep children interested with things like modern "apprenticeships" to help kids excel in their passion and encourage let them learn.

Teachers go into their career wanting to help children and should have tools to help individual students. School is not a baby sitter. Teachers are underappreciated and underpaid. Teachers need manageable sized classes. As a teacher, let the next teacher in when you are "done".

You can help on a local level and help influence modern methods by getting involved with your school board. Remember to thank a teacher.
