LSU head football coach Brian Kelly shared that standout star LB Harold Perkins would move to inside linebacker this upcoming season. It is a move that isn't completely foreign to Perkins as he spent last offseason learning that position and played on the inside against the Florida State Seminoles to start the 2023 season, however it was not successful and Perkins was moved to more of a hybrid linebacker position. This season, Kelly and new defensive coordinator Blake Baker is determined to make it work. But can it?

Plus, redshirt freshman DE Jaxon Howard has announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal once it opens next week. The second-year edge rusher appeared in three games last season with limited snaps and did not have a starting role carved out for him this season.
