Ci siamo incontrati a Milano per riflettere sul nostro viaggio con LocriDublino, giunto alla terza puntata della quarta stagione.

LocriDublino è un podcast prodotto e registrato a distanza, è nato così da quando Luca era Locri, in quinta liceo, e Simone a Dublino, al suo primo anno in Irlanda, e tale è rimasto in questi anni. Quando ne abbiamo l'occasione, tuttavia, ci incontriamo in presenza per realizzare degli episodi speciali come questo. Abbiamo registrato il primo a Locri, nel 2019, dopo che Simone aveva trascorso il primo anno all’estero; il secondo, a Dublino, quando Luca è andato a trovarlo, alla fine stesso anno; il terzo nel 2021, A Placanica, il paese di Simone. Questo è il quarto episodio speciale in presenza, insieme: è registrato a Milano, la città in cui Luca frequenta l’università.

Sono trascorsi più di tre anni da quando abbiamo dato vita a LocriDublino. Il podcast è molto importante per noi, è un legame con la nostra storia e la nostra Calabria, e allo stesso tempo un modo stimolante per crescere e imparare, maturare e sviluppare le nostre idee, ampliare i nostri orizzonti e le nostre prospettive, insieme ai nostri ospiti e ai nostri ascoltatori.

Da allora sono cambiate tante cose, non solo nei nostri contenuti, ma anche nelle nostre idee, nelle nostre vite, nelle nostre città, nelle nostre speranze, nella Locride e nella Calabria. Simone è partito per Dublino nel 2018, Luca per Milano nel 2019, entrambi dopo il diploma: siamo partiti per dei motivi precisi, con degli obiettivi specifici, con delle idee e delle speranze, per noi e per la nostra terra.

We met in Milan to talk about our journey with LocriDublino: this is the third episode of the fourth season.

LocriDublino is a remotely produced and recorded podcast, it was born in this way since Luca was in Locri, in fifth high school, and Simone in Dublin, in his first year in Ireland, and has remained so during the years. When we get the opportunity, however, we meet in attendance to make special episodes like this one. We recorded the first in Locri, in 2019, after Simone had spent the first year abroad; the second, in Dublin, when Luca went to visit him at the end of the same year; the third in 2021, in Placanica, Simone's town. This is the fourth special episode in attendance, together: it’s recorded in Milan, the city where Luca attends university.

More than three years have passed since we started LocriDublino. The podcast is very important to us, it is a link with our history and Calabria, and at the same time a stimulating way to grow and learn, mature and develop our ideas, broaden our horizons and our perspectives, with our guests and our listeners.

Since then, many things have changed, not only in our contents, but also in our ideas, in our lives, in our cities, in our hopes, in Locride and in Calabria. Simone left for Dublin in 2018, Luca for Milan in 2019, both after graduation: we left for specific reasons, with specific objectives, with ideas and hopes, for us and for our land.
