Love poetry is something special. While sharing many characteristics with other forms of poetry, it often has distinct features and qualities that set it apart. Other poems may address a wide range of topics, from nature to personal experiences and abstract concepts; the primary focus of a love poem is love in various forms - romantic love, passionate love, and even the loss of love.
