For this episode we get a little personal. We discuss our stories and experiences with mental health. The ways in which we manage, deal, and have gone through anxiety, depression, stress, panic attacks, and more.

Through our stories we hope to emphasize the significance of asking for help, seeking therapy, and exploring medical interventions when necessary.

We have both been challenged throughout our life with all of these things, and we hope by being vulnerable we can reach others who feel the same.

IN THIS EPISODE WE SHARE:

  • How mental health care is unique and individualized: There's no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to managing mental health. It's important to find what works best for you.
  • Seeking help is crucial: Whether it's reaching out to a trusted person, seeking therapy, or considering medical intervention, it's important to reach out for support when you're struggling.
  • Coping skills and medication can go hand in hand: While medication can play a role in treating mental health issues, it's not a cure-all. Combining it with coping skills, wellness approaches, and mindfulness can lead to a more holistic approach to your mental well-being.
  • Don't hesitate to ask for help: It's okay to ask for help, even when it feels difficult. You don't have to carry the weight of your struggles alone. Reach out to friends, family, or professionals who can provide support and guidance.
