For the first time the Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) and the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) combined their respective annual conferences to present the 48th Annual ICAAC and the 46th Annual IDSA Meeting held in Washington, DC on October 25-28, 2008.
