Forty-year youth ministry veteran Jeff Grenell believes too many churches have a Nickelodeon-style youth ministry model and actually treat kids about three years younger than they really are. The world is a lot harder on students than our churches are in that they expect more out of them. In his book, “Next Gen Faith: 12 Spiritual Practices for Youth”, our guest writes about how this generation needs to be re-introduced to Jesus through a relationship and how too many have heard about Jesus, but only know what they've heard and haven't really experienced Him. Jeff believes we need practices that protect our principles. We need to teach kids what to do and what to know...but also how to do it and how to know it.
