The Morning Footy crew react to the news that the USMNT have scheduled a friendly in mid-October down in Guadalajara against Mexico. This will be the USMNT's first friendly in Mexico since 2012. With reports confirming that Mauricio Pochettino has agreed to take the head coaching job for the US, it's yet to be made official. Will he be there coaching the US? Former U-20s coach Mikey Varas is expected to be at the helm for the September friendlies already on the books.
