When was the last time you bought a car? If it was more than a couple of years ago it might have gone like this:
A local dealer sells a big, expensive, important product, without much transparency, to a customer and proceeds to never talk to them again.
This is changing. The EV disruption is shaking up car buying to sometimes eliminate the need for the dealership entirely and instead transact direct-to-consumer sales through showrooms.
