Secret Vault Allegory or Real Buried Treasure? The Beale Ciphers

Between 1819 and 1821 a fortune in gold, silver, and jewels were allegedly buried in the hills of Bedford County, Virginia, by a man named Thomas J. Beale. The supposed location of the treasure can only be deciphered through three encoded texts, two of which remain unbroken.
