Why do racial injustices, racial inequalities and racial disparities in liberal democracies persist over time without structural redress? Why has the U.S. found itself in every generation since Reconstruction indicted by Black citizens for anti-Blackness, despite foundational claims to liberty and equality as universal ideas and practices?
