By the time this episode hits this feed, you've probably already heard us talk about the SAG-AFTRA strike and their guidance for podcasters on our other shows, unless I suppose this is the only podcast of mine that you listen to.
Anyway, in order to stand in solidarity with SAG-AFTRA during their strike, we have decided that Stairwells as a movie podcast will go on hiatus. Em joined Niamh to talk a little about the union's guidance and answer some emergency non-movie emails we received from audience members.
At the time of this writing, Autumn and Niamh are still discussing exactly what we want to do in the interim, but we know that at the very least we will be back in two weeks for a general hangout episode to catch up after their absence. At that time, we will announce if we've decided on anything else to cover while we suspect movie coverage (like, for example, pivoting to manga or something).
