The tokoloshe is a teeny, tiny, terrible tormentor of peoples across South Africa. The little being, who has been treated as a joke by much of the Western world, is thought to be a very real threat to the region. Tied to everything from theft and fires to assault and death, this creature seems to exist only to cause trouble. But the truth behind the tokoloshe and what it means for many may be darker than the creature itself. A racist past, a violent present, a scape goat, and a witch hunt. Don't mess with the tokoloshe.
