Mrs. Susan Rose-Ackerman is a Henry R. Luce Professor Emeritus of Law and Political Science and Professorial Lecturer in Law at the Yale University. She has published widely in the fields of law, economics, and public policy, and she has edited nine books on aspects of corruption and administrative law.
During this episode, we discuss Mrs. Rose-Ackerman's own background on the subject of corruption, what we have really learned building on her work and the work of other scholars in the field, but also the definitions and the solutions of corruption. We also discuss the importance of politics in understanding both the roots of corruption and the success or failure of alternative policy interventions.
