Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
This week is the start of a new segment for the show - At the Movies! There are plenty of video game movies and television adaptations of video games out there, so I thought it was finally time to start talking about them here. What better time to start than with the release of one of the hottest new video game movies, Borderlands!.... Hmmmmmm, well, that was my initial thought months ago when I planned out starting this segment. Little did I know that this movie was going to be panned across the board and get labeled as one of the worst game to movie adaptations ever! Nonetheless, I still thought this would be a good one to discuss regardless of the critical and audience reception. Tune in to find out what my thoughts are on this movie - is it really as bad as everyone is saying?
