Saving Throes # 38 - Behind the Screen: Accessories and Tools I Use in My Game
Manage episode 397490878 series 3474518
Welcome to the Saving Throes podcast! This is my Tabletop role-playing game podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a topic or theme along with my take on current happenings in the world of tabletop role-playing games and semi regular updates on the games I am currently involved with, or new games or products I have come across.
This week I decide to take you behind my DM screen again to talk about the different accessories and tools I use for my gaming, whether as a player or DM (it is mostly D&D focussed). I realized recently that I had not yet done an episode like this and I had kept meaning to do one, so better late than never. I have divided these accessories and tools up into 4 distinct categories: preparation tools, obvious accessories, atmosphere building tools & technical aides. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but rather some of the more frequent and common things I use to run and play in games at my table. Tune in to hear if there are any accessories or tools that might be useful to you, or let me know if you think I am overlooking something that you can't live or play without!
