Chakras are an invisible energy that flow within out physical body. They can be considered energy gateways or vortices. There are 7 and all are important for our best alignment with source, spirit and our life path. The Root chakra is considered the foundation and is referred to as the 1st chakra. This chakra develops between conception and 7 years of age. It's worth noting that any trauma or illness during the development of that time period will definitely affect the alignment. Yoga & meditation are the tried and true methods to realign. Also, its worth mentioning... the paronym is where the original cells that brought about our existence are located and that is the location of the root chakra.
