This was recorded at three minutes after midnight on 15th December 2024.
"I wish I hadn't started out on a journey like this - a journey to comment every day about how I'm feeling.
It’s hard enough to just get through the day from beginning to end without having to think about how am I feeling, how have I've been feeling, how do I wish I had been feeling.
I'm looking back on this day from about midnight on Saturday night. I'm thinking I wish I didn't have to go to bed soon I would've like I would like to stay up all night watching England against New Zealand. I suppose that means I'm feeling dissatisfied.
now content but I did have a nice bit of lunch with my wife in the barn today yeah what did we do we went out to buy Christmas presents for my grandchildren and we did get them and after that we had a short amount Time before getting back to the house in order to take care of the dog so that our daughter could go out everything was kind of Harley barley hunting very quickly and this was Saturday morning meant to be nice and slow
I would have to get Logs we have one of these you know these kind of fires that you put logs into it and set fire to it I don't know what I'm talking about I'm talking about a firebox I suppose yeah I've got a fire box not an open fire so I got six bags of logs and I was very pleased because I was afraid that the place There's some logs it would be shut and it wasn't. so I got the logs and I was very happy.
I sat down in front of the fire I got up from time to time and things like set the table for dinner tell it all the work she prepared food I did very little.
I watched Leinster playing Rugby against the French team I was pleased that they store one. then I played around on Facebook and Instagram.
I recorded live stream of poetry by Walt Whitman part seven of “passage to India” - Long poem from “leaves of grass”. that was a satisfying and enjoyable thing to do because five people that I know from live streaming & podcasting came onto the live stream on Instagram just Jane Boyd came, Rich Roberts came, Jane Boyd in Canada - Rich Roberts in upstate New York - Jacqueline White came from Orange County in California, Sm2N came from England. (Jarle Pettersen from Norway too)
overall that was very satisfying I was calm all day my emotions didn't go up or did they go down I didn't do today was Take the dog for a walk which means that I didn't get out in the fresh air but I did put up some Christmas lights round the front door of the house so I did a bit of DIY do it yourself I did overall not a bad day.
