Welcome back to 'Rocking Your Bald Podcast.' Today, you get me! I share my personal journey with alopecia in honor of Alopecia Awareness Month. I recounted when I was diagnosed at age five and detailed my experiences, from painful steroid treatments to the emotional impact of hair loss. I also discuss navigating life through school bullying, various attempts to hide my bald spots, and eventually rocking the bald as an adult. I also share advice for others on a similar journey, stressing the importance of support systems, setting boundaries, and self-acceptance. I also encourage those unaffected by alopecia to educate themselves on the condition to support better those who live with it.
