How therapy helped with my anxiety | Anxiety Chats S02E45
Manage episode 407090666 series 3557676
In this episode, my co-host Leila and I are reading an anonymous positive story about anxiety therapy.
This anonymous author shares with us how with the help of a therapist, they were introduced to tools, in particular one called the “Anxiety Curve”, which helped them relieve their death anxiety.
With their therapist’s follow-up and practice of self-validation of feelings, their panic attacks got easier and easier, until they realized that it's totally possible to have a great life being an anxious person!
Leila and I also took the opportunity to chat about how death anxiety can be hard to deal with and the important role of the therapist during the healing process. Even with all the stigma about this type of treatment.
Also, I know that experiences with therapy may not always be positive, so it was really nice to share with you a story of someone who really enjoyed it. 🧡
I’d really love to hear your opinions about therapy. Please, leave your comments below! 👇 👇 👇
