American rock band BoDeans are the "focus beam" artist on this week's Boppin' With Beth. Hear about their awesome career, a couple of tunes from their discography and a solo song from Kurt Neumann. Plus, there's tracks from some of their influences and peers including Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, U2, Marshall Crenshaw and David Bowie. Beth's Bop Of The Week is a new song from the late, great Jimmy Buffett. Jammin' James Riley has a cut from The Malibooz in Hang Ten. To close out the show, there's a couple of great tunes from Nanci Griffith and Robbie Robertson that also feature backing vocals by the BoDeans as well!
