Have you ever wondered why eating healthy still doesn’t seem to get you to your health goals? What if I told you there are hidden ingredients in your “health” foods and supplements that are directly opposing your efforts? In today’s episode, I will take you on a tour of the diet and food industry from a less commonly discussed perspective. As a precision wellness specialist and nutritionist, I started manufacturing food because my clients were constantly frustrated by the lack of options available in the grocery store. When I would cook for them, they had amazing results but when they started buying food in the stores again, most of their progress regressed despite being on track with calories and macronutrients. After spending years in supplement, beverage and food manufacturing, I have a much better understanding of why this would happen. In my opinion, this behind the scenes information is vital to everyone who wants to improve their health. The statistics I cover in this episode prove that calorie counting, trendy diets, snack size portions and many other dietary options for weight and overall health have failed. The question is, who is to blame? Are you just a bad dieter or is there more to this whole thing?
