Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Kadin McElwain is an autistic college student in Ohio and is an advocate for autism awareness throughout the state. April is Autism Awareness month and to help promote the month, Kadin joined me to discuss his journey, how he was told that he wouldn't be able to live a normal life as an adult because of his autism. But he was able to prove those who doubted him wrong time and time again. HIs goal now is to help other people with autism get the help they need to thrive.
