During the Paleolithic or Old Stone Age, people used stone tools. Throughout the Paleolithic Age, human beings were hunter-gatherers. They lived out in the open, in caves, or under rocks overhangs. They gathered plant parts and hunted animals for food. The tools they made hunting and gathering easier.
The Middle Stone Age or the Mesolithic Age Information :
Towards the end of the Paleolithic Age, which lasted more than a million years, the climate started to get warmer. This climatic change resulted in the growth of several plants and animal species. It made life easier for early humans. This period is called Mesolithic Age.
The changes that took place in nature during the Mesolithic age changed the life of the hunter-gatherers in many ways. They started making better tools known as microliths.
The New Stone Age or the Neolithic Age :
Around 9000 BCE, the climate of the Earth began to change. The temperature began to rise and the climate became milder. It resulted in the birth of several new plants and animals. The growing season for plants became longer. And the Mesolithic era humans now know that plants grow from seeds and then they became farmers.
