Every conversation revolves around our basic, fundamental, human instinct for connection. Ginny and Amanda explore how emotions—pain, fear, loss, and grief, as well as joy, excitement, happiness, and love—work to either create connection or to hinder it, personally in relationships, and collectively out in the world.

When Ginny and Amanda start talking, a spark flares and they go deep, every time. They are not afraid of vulnerability or grief, or to say what needs to be said (with kindness, compassion, and love). Both women have spent years seeking self-awareness in 12-step recovery and have experienced a depth of despair which propelled them into the light, mainly because their lives depended upon it. They've dug deep and have become comfortable in emotional intimacy within themselves and with others and feel safe to investigate things many of us think but don't know how to say, or don't want to say. With these ladies, nothing is off the table.

Ginny and Amanda both have a genuine desire to share their experience with you, and to heal alongside you. The goal is to help you evolve into a better version of yourself, where you feel safe to enter the world comfortable in your emotions, which organically leads to authentic connection.

"Light 'Em Up" dissects the moment you look someone in the eye and they look away. Ginny and Amanda unpack the fear in the world that is responsible for disconnection, and why that seems to be the default reaction for most. Then they discuss the antidote to that fear: human light, your unique spark, and how sharing that spark dispels fear and allows for connection.
