Manage episode 300254132 series 2917430
Trey is a current Real Estate salesperson working with Harcourts, Milford. We chat about how cut throat the industry is and on the flip side just how rewarding it is at the same time. I realised throughout this conversation how dedicated you have to be while working in Real Estate and for someone as young as Trey (22) it is good to see an individual who backs themselves to succeed in the business. Just to give you some context, Trey has listed 7 homes and has a few on the way, but to get this he has door knocked over a thousand and put himself out there for the community to get to know him. Asking him questions like, Do we see Agents being pushed out of the industry? Is it for specific people? This is a worthwhile chat. As Trey describes himself - Born and bred on the North Shore Trey has an incredible understanding of the area and the cultural diversity. Coming from an American Samoan family he knows how important it is to be adapt at living amongst such a diverse community on the Shore. Trey holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from AUT. He has worked at Newstalk ZB and Magic Talk Radio before moving into Real Estate. Early on he identified he loved to meet new people every day and share in the enjoyment of the massive step in their lives. Having always loved sport, Trey has excelled in rugby and boxing. He has won two national titles in boxing for under 63kg and 69kg division. Trey prides in pushing himself outside his comfort zone - including bungee jumping off the Harbour Bridge and stand-up comedy in front of 100 people.
