We welcome back Elizabeth Hines, the wife of rock n roll legend Denny Laine from The Moody Blues and Wings to give us an update about his ongoing health crisis plus we recap a little bit on the benefit concert in West Hollywood that was planned to raise funds to pay for medical expenses. Also Liz explains the relationship that Denny and Paul have and have had over the years. She talks about that Paul McCartney is indeed helping and how he wants to be kept in the loop about his former bandmate's health crisis. Plus Elizabeth explains the false perception that Denny is a rich and answers questions about his health coverage situation and why there is still a need to raise funds. We also chat about the upcoming benefit shows being planned in NYC and Liverpool and approximately when they will take place.
Denny Laine is an English musician, singer, and songwriter, known as a founder of two major rock bands: the Moody Blues, with whom he played from 1964 to 1966, and co founder of Wings with Paul McCartney, with whom he played from 1971 to 1981. Laine has worked with a variety of artists and groups over a six-decade career, and continues to record and perform as a solo artist. In 2018, Laine was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Moody Blues.
