APIs – or application program interfaces – are an integral part of critical infrastructure and our daily lives. However, APIs are becoming an increasingly bigger risk in cybersecurity. We spoke with Dean Phillips, the Executive Director, Public Sector Programs at NoName Security. Dean is a Former FBI Assistant Director who was the Special Agent in Charge of the Denver Field Office before that. Deans tell us what keeps him up at night when it comes to APIs, what vulnerabilities exist to organizations and the government, and what we can do to ensure we aren’t victims.
