Taking care of your Mental Health and going to Therapy is trending! However, there are so many myths and misconceptions about what it's like to be IN therapy and what it's like to BE a therapist. Today I have an open conversation with Misty Seybert, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She specializes in children, teens, college students, families and couples on a variety of issues, such as but not limited to relationships, anxiety, identity issues, crisis situations, grief, self-harm (cutting), self-esteem, women’s issues, parenting, and daily life challenges. For the last 15 years, Misty has also taught Psychology and Counseling on an undergraduate level. Misty is also a Christian and brings an added element of understanding when it comes to bridging the gap between Faith and receiving Professional Mental Health care.
