George Daniels is one of the most influential figures in Chicago music history. In this interview with Donnie Houston, he talks about his life as a child moving around from New York to Houston before eventually landing his Chicago. George talks about how he became Etta James' driver while at Chess Records, where he met a young Minnie Ripperton and began a relationship.
