Julia Anker is a math teacher at Montgomery High School in Chula Vista, CA. In her 7 years of experience, Julia has cultivated a deep understanding of math education and student-centered pedagogy. In this episode, she also show discusses her favorite math web application, Desmos, and how she integrates code to enhance the student experience. Of course, we get into distance learning, the pandemic, and what students can expect from Ms. Anker when they return on May 3rd and, we finally get her to use colorful language when we discuss the decision to continue standardized testing this year.
