What do businesses needs to look out for in terms of employment laws in 2022? In this episode, we are discussing the top employment law areas for 2022. There were a lot of changes with the pandemic, whether employers had to require certain protective measures, allow employees to work from home or require vaccines. Even though compliance with employment issues surrounding the pandemic is important, it is key to keep a pulse on the other more common everyday areas.

Knowing what is ahead can help you plan the areas you need to watch out for, and keep an eye on. Here is what we discuss:

  1. [3:50] Work from home requests disguised as request for an accommodation based on a medical condition.
  2. [6:35] Online Harassment - employees may be less professional when communication is online, which may lead to more harassment type claims
  3. [7:46] Wage and Hour Issues - improper time keeping; contacting employees after hours by text/phone; employees arriving to work late
