Washington State head coach Nick Rolovich announced February 26, 2021, that Marco Regalado has been hired as a Recruiting Assistant for the Cougar Football program. Regalado begins his first season with the Cougars after working the 2020 season as the running backs coach and recruiting coordinator at V.R. Eaton High School in Texas where they enjoyed the best season in school history with a 9-4 record and saw a pair of running backs record combine for over 2,000 yards of total offense. Regalado worked the 2019 season as a special teams coordinator and linebackers coach at PSJ Memorial High School and worked in a variety of roles at Mathis High School in Texas in 2018 after coaching the 2016-17 seasons at Santa Gertrudis High School in Texas where they claimed their first District title in school history. From 2014-16, Regalado coached as a graduate assistant at Texas A&M – Kingsville where he worked with the defensive line. The Zapata, Texas native earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport science from Texas State in 2014 and his master’s degree in educational administration from Texas A&M – Kingsville in 2016.
