The idea that man would one day go to the moon is often perceived to be a modern concept. But in the 17th century one man published a book that not only detailed his own thoughts on what the moon was but also suggested a method on how we could travel to the moon and back. Although his conclusions are indeed very whacky the book itself is very interesting. This episode explores the contents of his book as well as looks at the man himself. Who was he? And why was he so interested in the moon?
