#51 How to Turn Your Core Motivations into Goals

What is up everyone!? Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all having a fantastic week to this point! Today we start to get into the fun stuff, actually creating goals and then the milestones along the way based on our core motivations.

If you haven’t gotten to your core motivations, do not worry about it at all. They will come, continue to push on them, push yourself to be real with yourself, but most importantly, stop worrying about what others will think. Your core motivations are just that...YOURS!

Now that you have your core motivations, it’s time to look at where you need to be in order to fully embrace and live those motivations daily. What are yours? Mine are Family, Freedom and Impact. In order for me to live those to the fullest, I need to prepare myself mentally, by learning more about business and finance. Physically, by not only losing weight but by getting stronger. And lastly, emotionally, to be able to be the best man, father and love to my family.

Those are the key areas need to be improved so I can make the greatest impact, have the best time with my family and have the freedom to engage all interests and ideas I have. Those areas might be different for you, they could possibly be the same. The important things is that you select areas of growth to support where you are going.

Now that we have those areas of growth, select a timeframe. Could be a month, a year a half a decade. Anything. I selected 4 years. Whatever your time frame is, take that and plot it out on a spreadsheet. I tend to target 5 main areas and a task in each per quarter for my goals. Depending on your time frame and areas of growth, customize your spreadsheet. Check out my example template in the description of this video on Youtube.

Now you go to work. Start learning and growing as quickly as you can. Taking the time to be in the moment while you are learning but you now have the path, you just have to walk it!

Take care of yourselves and don’t be afraid to challenge yourself and your beliefs on a daily basis.
