In particular the perceptible increase in "blockchain archeologists" aka the folks putting out respectable bids on older mints has been a welcome bright spot amidst the still swirling storm clouds following the Binance vs Curmudgeon States of America announcement yesterday. The boys also talk about the sense that many seem to be feeling about how crypto may help increase the signal of specific identities amidst a potential ai-powered creative boom that would otherwise overwhelm our human abilities to identify the good from the bad [note: a lot of hypothetical examples bandied about by talking heads focus on ai created images and how crypto could help folks distinguish between non-ai images and ai-created images, but may not be the best framing].
