How often do you take the time to think about the person who cooked your food at your favorite restaurant. How about the person who delivered you the food when you didn’t feel like going to the restaurant yourself? How often do you think about the janitor who takes care of your office? Do you consider the messes of today that are cleaned by the time you come back to your office the next day? How often do you think about the homeless person on the street. The one with the sign that says hungry, U.S. Vet, anything will help. Do you walk by and ignore them or do you take the time to see them? Finally, how often do you think about the people across the globe who make the products for you in your country? The people who make your clothes, grow your food, mine your jewelry? Do you think about what it takes to live the life you are currently living? There are a number of invisible people that you come across in your daily life as well as those that are way behind the scenes. It is easy to dismiss and even ignore the people that help make everything easier for you, but these individuals are still people with the same humanity that you possess. What would it take to really “see” these individuals. To let them know that they are seen and valued. How do you make the invisible become visible? As Oleg travels through Ghana, he is seeing people that he has not been able to see before. He is seeing a culture that the West may not see normally.
