An American Werewolf in London (1981), directed by John Landis, follows two American backpackers, David (David Naughton) and Jack (Griffin Dunne), who are attacked by a werewolf while traveling through the English countryside. After Jack is killed, David survives but begins to experience disturbing transformations and visions as he realizes he is becoming a werewolf. The film also stars Jenny Agutter as Nurse Alex Price.
