This week, join me in listening to an episode with Michelle Alemi, an acquired anosmic originally from Haddonfield, New Jersey and currently living in San Francisco, California working as a traveling nurse. Michelle experienced a traumatic brain injury in February 2018 which led to her loss of smell. In addition to her new reality living with anosmia, Michelle was diagnosed as a teenager with diabetes so we discussed what it’s like for her to manage both anosmia and diabetes, specifically when it comes to diet.
