Welcome to Episode 14 of the Straight Shootin' Rants On this episode Straight Shootin' LJA gives his views about football clubs using the UK Governments loosely defined job retention scheme, and furloughing employees due to the Premier League postponing the 2019/2020 season early, due to the world wide Corona Virus pandemic. LJA looks at whether or not clubs are being unfairly criticised for taking advantage of a legitimate business entitlement, if there is a double standard when it comes to football clubs using it, in comparison to more lucrative entities and individuals & if he ethically agrees with football clubs using it. This is a general opinion & is not aimed at anyone in particular unless otherwise stated.
