In today’s Trish Regan Show, we’re talking about the future of Fox News amid a little-known dispute about WHO will control the network’s key voting rights after the death of owner Rupert Murdoch. The family is in court today with Rupert Murdoch facing off against his three eldest children over who will gain the most voting shares and therefore control New Corp and Fox News upon his death. Reportedly, the senior Murdoch wanted to amend a family trust to position his son Lachlan to control the company without interference from his siblings. (The siblings are viewed as liberal.) Will this ultimately end Fox? I’ll give you my view on the peril the company (and its stock price) now face.
