Good evening, weather watchers! I'm bringing you the holiday forecast from the National Weather Service for the Dallas area.
Let's dive right into our Christmas outlook! We're looking at a cozy yet cloudy holiday with some interesting weather twists. Overnight, expect some patchy fog and temperatures dipping down to a chilly 50 degrees. Those northwest winds will be gentle, hanging around 5 miles per hour.
Christmas Day itself will start with some morning fog, but should clear up to a cloudy landscape with temperatures climbing to a mild 60 degrees. Those northwest winds will eventually calm down, making for a pretty tranquil holiday.
Looking ahead to Thursday, things get a bit more exciting! We've got a solid chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, with precipitation likelihood around 70 percent. Temperatures will peak near 64 degrees, and those winds will shift to a gentle southeast breeze.
Friday looks like a beautiful day with mostly sunny skies and temperatures warming up to a pleasant 69 degrees. The weekend continues the sunny trend, with Saturday and Sunday both offering gorgeous weather perfect for outdoor activities.
Next week starts strong with sunny days and temperatures climbing into the low to mid 70s on Monday, before cooling slightly to around 61 degrees on Tuesday.
