Being a Young Fabian
Manage episode 270713584 series 2782873
This week we are joined by three of the recent additions to the Young Fabian's committee for a brief chat about what they've been up to in their roles so far and what exciting things they have coming up!
We also discussed the importance of Labour winning back Scotland, the hurdles they face with growing support for an Independence Referendum, and how to make the case for Unionism. Emily, Young Fabians Women's Officer, details the need for female representation in politics as well as what she has been doing in her role to encourage and ensure women's voices and issues are focused on within the Young Fabians. Also, we discuss the importance of societies like the Young Fabians, how George has been encouraging donations as Fundraising Officer and all of the fantastic resources and publications which these donations contribute towards.
