"When was the last time you went to any sort of event and actually felt like the planners and organizers took care and attention to craft something special for you?" Rodney reflects on his most recent live podcast event, his love for the stage, and most importantly, his love and respect for the audience. He tries to answer the question: "How can we have better events?" Rodney feels that most event planners/organizers lack the balls, empathy, and artistic integrity to really wow their audience/attendees. He goes into all the ways events today fall short in crafting the ultimate experience for the audience, using conferences, conventions, and Nigerian weddings as examples.
