We discuss Trulieve's recent CFO quitting within two weeks of hire as well as all the latest reporting on the Rock Island, Illinois Green Thumb Industries (GTI) worker death with guests, Chris Cano of SunCoast NORML; Lezli Engelking of FOCUS, the Cannabis Health & Safety Org; Laura Raymond, the mother of Lorna McMurrey; Cate, a GTI worker who was assaulted on the job; and Danny Carson, who was a Trulieve co-worker of Lorna McMurrey. “As a former GTI worker.. Many others at the Rock Island facility had serious safety concerns that weren’t addressed,” said Magen Townsend, Teamsters International Organizer. “Lack of air filtration, proper ventilation, and safety equipment were among our primary issues.
